support for apple payment In our country it is growing more and more and, if from a technical point of view NFC POS terminals are spreading like wildfire, banks are also preparing to support the payment system, compatible with iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad. The latest to have official support is fineco.

Multi-channel bank of the UniCredit group, has more one million two hundred thousand customers, which is potentially a big blow to Apple Pay and its spread in our country. Compatibility with the Apple payment system is something that has been rumored for a few weeks but, finally, everything has become official.

In essence, adding Fineco cards is identical to that of other credit institutions: just open Apple Pay and start scanning the card, the rest will be all automatic.

Summing up the last few months of Apple Pay in Italy, Hype (later integrated by Tim Personal who operates in the same circuit), BuddyBank (Unicredit online bank) and Allianz arrived.

Currently, the Apple Pay platform has a total of 20 in Italy, waiting for exi (formerly CartaSì) to bring new banks to Apple in addition to those that already support Apple Pay.

Interestingly, in the list of supported banks on the Apple Pay website, Fineco does not appear yet.
