Google Maps on iOS, navigation becomes more fun with cars

Google Maps is undoubtedly the most widely used satellite navigation service in the world, be it an Android smartphone or an iPhone running iOS. The Mountain View giant has done a great job optimizing the app to be compatible with a wide variety of devices. However, interface customization is something that has never caught onat least so far.
For a few hours Google aps for iOS allows you to choose, within the step-by-step navigation interface, instead of the classic dart various car models. As you can see in the GIF, tapping on the traditional dart brings up a carousel of car models to choose from.
It is certainly not an improvement that brings new features but it is something that allows you to have a more personalized version of Google Maps. As Google itself suggests, it's a fun (and free) way to drive a new car.
Depending on your mood, you can replace the classic blue navigation arrow with a new icon: a stylish sedan, a timeless station wagon, or a fast SUV. Start by tapping the arrow while driving to select the vehicle of your choice and hit the road in a brand new car, so you can get that good feeling without leaving any money down.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have any information about a possible Android app update in this regard.
